IR Transmitter and Receiver Module – Infrared Pair for Communication & Object Detection
The IR Transmitter and Receiver Module is a matched set that uses infrared light for wireless communication and sensing. The transmitter (IR LED) emits modulated IR signals, and the receiver (IR photodiode or phototransistor) detects these signals when reflected off objects or received directly from a source.
This setup is widely used in IR remote control systems, line-following robots, obstacle detection, and non-contact object counters. The module operates on standard 3.3V–5V logic and integrates easily with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
